Our history

The history of Hébergia started in 2001, when the current owners of the company decided to leave the financial world to buy a small inn in Magog, La belle Victorienne. Over the years, they have evolved to keep pace with changes in the hospitality industry. Since the beginning they had to adapt to new market trends in order to meet their customers expectations.

Mario Marois and Chantal Leclerc, founders of Hébergia, bought a bed and breakfast with 4 bedrooms. And immediately aware of the potential of the internet, they created a website, accompanied by major renovations.

The owners found an investor to join them and they acquired the first chalet, Australe, which they opened to rent after major renovations and the launch of a new website. They will subsequently build in the region of Fitch Bay, three other chalets, the Eclipse, the Equinox, and the Star.

Hébergia made a first breakthrough in rental management for second home owners who want to make their investment profitable by offering them a management service and incorporating their properties into their website which has now become transactional.

Hébergia now counts more than twenty chalets and a hostel now offering 10 rooms in Magog, La belle Victorienne.
Since the advent of the internet, social media and sharing sites, the way of doing business in hotels has changed dramatically. It is in this perspective that our multidisciplinary team is oriented towards customer service.
