– Hiking, snowshoeing, and water sports: Stukely Beach and numerous hiking trails are accessible via the George-Bonnallie entrance, located less than 5 km away.

For this reason, parties are never allowed in our chalets, and the number of guests must not exceed the limit specified in your contract. We also kindly ask you to keep noise levels reasonable. Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate expulsion and an additional fee of $500 for any inconvenience caused. Booking and Confirmation Policy
As check-in is self-service, access instructions will be sent by email 4 days prior to the OCCUPANCY DATE.
Security clause for last-minute bookings:
For any reservation made less than seven (7) days before the occupancy date, an electronically signed contract is required. A government-issued photo ID and a photo of the credit card holder holding their card in hand will also be required. Due to repeated fraud, this procedure is necessary to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
1.2 At the time of the stay, an amount of $1,000 will be pre-authorized on the Tenant’s credit card as a SECURITY DEPOSIT. This deposit may be used to compensate the Owner for any damage caused by the Tenant to the rental property. The deposit will be released in the days following the end of the stay, after cleaning and inspection.
1.3 The minimum age to book is twenty-five (25) years old. Proof of identity may be requested.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Owner.
For stays of 31 days or less:
2.1 The DEPOSIT is refundable, less a 10% administrative fee based on the total stay value (before taxes), if the cancellation notice is received more than thirty (30) days prior to the OCCUPANCY DATE.
2.2 If the cancellation notice is received between sixteen (16) and thirty (30) days before the OCCUPANCY DATE, the DEPOSIT is non-refundable.
2.3 If the cancellation notice is received less than fifteen (15) days before the OCCUPANCY DATE, no refund will be given.
Exception : If the Owner is able to re-rent the unit for the same dates and at the same rate, the Tenant may choose between:
A refund, less a 10% administrative fee,
Or a credit note of equal value applicable to a future stay.

We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance or verifying whether your credit card includes travel insurance that covers accommodations.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY
3.1 The Owner agrees to provide furniture, dishes, and necessary accessories in accordance with the description on the unit’s webpage.
3.2 The Owner cannot be held liable for any accident, injury, or illness that may occur to the Tenant or their guests during the stay. By accepting this reservation, the Tenant and their guests accept the risks associated with their stay.
3.3 The Owner is not responsible for theft or loss of the Tenant’s or guests’ belongings during the stay.
3.4 No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures.
3.5 The Owner will not issue any refund or credit note in the event of the occasional presence of small animals such as mice, voles, flies, or ladybugs due to the rural location of the unit. Please inform us immediately if you notice any such presence.
3.6 The Owner will not issue any refund or credit note due to weather conditions, water quality near the property, or unexpected interruptions in electricity, water, or gas services during the stay.
3.7 The Owner and/or representative reserve the right to inspect the premises without notice and to perform any necessary urgent repairs.
3.8 In the event the rented unit cannot be provided, a full refund will be issued. No additional claims will be accepted.
TENANT’S RESPONSIBILITY
4.1 The Tenant is responsible for any material damage caused to the unit or property by themselves or their guests during the rental period, for any reason, directly or indirectly. The Tenant agrees to hold the Owner harmless from any claims resulting from such damage.
4.2 Specifically, but not limited to, any damage caused to the hot tub due to improper use or negligence by the Tenant will incur additional charges. The presence of a hot tub is not guaranteed in all units. Please consult the unit’s webpage under “Amenities” on the Hébergia website for availability.
4.3 The Tenant is responsible for the actions of all persons present on the rental premises.
4.4 The Tenant must report any breakages or damage occurring during the stay, as well as any malfunctions noticed.
ADDITIONAL FEES AND PROHIBITIONS
5.1 Cleaning fees after your stay are included in the rental for a hassle-free experience. However, to maintain the property’s cleanliness, ADDITIONAL FEES may apply if the property is left in poor condition, up to $400.
Potential charges include:
$150: Major general uncleanliness
$50: Fridge, pantry, or garbage not emptied
$50: Dirty dishes or countertops not cleaned
$50: BBQ not cleaned
$100: Garbage not sorted or improperly disposed of
$100: Special cleaning required for hot tub
We encourage all guests to leave the property clean and in good condition to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
5.2 Long-distance call charges will be billed in addition to a $10 administration fee.
5.3 IMPORTANT:
5.3.1 Outdoor noise is STRICTLY PROHIBITED between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
5.3.2 The chalet’s maximum capacity MUST NEVER BE EXCEEDED, even during the day. Outdoor security cameras are in place.
5.3.3 Fireworks are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN at all times.
5.3.4 Street parking is PROHIBITED.
5.3.5 Tents, trailers, RVs, snowmobiles, and ATVs are PROHIBITED on the property.
5.3.6 PETS ARE PROHIBITED (in units where pets are allowed, specific rules apply and are provided at booking).
5.3.7 Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the unit.
A fee of $500 per violation may be charged. Fees are cumulative.
CONTRACT BREACH
6.1 The Tenant and their guests must comply with all terms in this agreement. In the event of non-compliance, the Owner reserves the right to terminate the contract and evict all occupants without compensation or refund.
6.2 The parties agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any claims or disputes related to this agreement is the courts located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, in the judicial district of Saint-François. The parties expressly waive jurisdiction elsewhere.
CONSENT
7.1 This agreement is non-renewable and does not constitute a residential lease. The Tenant may not sublet or transfer the unit or this agreement without the Owner’s written consent.
7.2 Without limiting the above, the Tenant acknowledges that the Owner may use the SECURITY DEPOSIT to cover any damage or breach of this agreement. The Tenant understands their liability exceeds the deposit amount and agrees to reach a fair settlement with the Owner for any additional costs.
7.3 Tenants acknowledge that Hébergia is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking agency. Hébergia’s role is limited to: i) enabling hosts to offer and promote accommodations on the platform, ii) allowing travelers to search for accommodations via the Hébergia platform, iii) promoting accommodations on other platforms, and iv) providing hosts with technological tools to manage bookings and payments.
7.4 The parties acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this rental contract.
